CHICAGO, IL, UNITED STATES, October 6, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Hiten Bhuta participated in three Chicago-area gatherings on October 2–3, 2026, connecting Gandhiji’s message of compassion and service with conversations about artificial intelligence for public benefit, India–U.S. engagement and stronger community relationships.

Hiten Bhuta, a technology entrepreneur and community contributor associated with CGS Infotech Solutions, Cyberweb Hotel, Sakar Jivanvikas Trust (Sakar Trust) and OpenClearFuture, also announced Silver Sponsorship for an upcoming Uttarakhand community Diwali celebration scheduled for October 25 in Arlington Heights.

The two-day visit included a Gandhi Jayanti gathering at Gandhi Memorial Park in Skokie, a leadership engagement at Four Seasons Chicago and a community reception at Wyndham Grand in Schaumburg.

“Three gatherings created hundreds of connections, but the larger lesson was simple: meaningful contribution begins by understanding people, listening carefully and finding practical ways to serve,” Hiten Bhuta said.

Gandhi Jayanti in Skokie: Understanding Someone’s Pain Is True Kindness
At Gandhi Memorial Park in Skokie, Hiten Bhuta addressed approximately 150 people during a Gandhi Jayanti gathering and shared the message, “Understanding Someone’s Pain Is True Kindness.”

His remarks connected Mahatma Gandhi’s spirit of service with a practical question for individuals, professionals and organizations: before trying to solve a problem, do they first understand the person experiencing it?

Hiten Bhuta emphasized that service can take many forms from giving time and sharing knowledge to applying professional capabilities for the benefit of others. He thanked Dr. Vijay Prabhakar for his warm welcome and commitment to bringing community members together.

For Hiten Bhuta, Gandhi Jayanti was not only a commemoration of the past but also an opportunity to consider how values such as empathy, dignity and service can guide contemporary decisions.

AI for Public Good - Meeting with leaders
During a gathering of leaders at down town Chicago, Bhuta interacted with participating leaders during the Chicago visit of India’s Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal. He also met with leadership team of US India Forum.

India’s Ministry of Commerce and Industry had announced Goyal’s September 29–October 5 U.S. visit, including engagements with business leaders, investors and community organizations in Milwaukee, Chicago and New York. PIB

Hiten Bhuta conversations focused on how artificial intelligence could make government information and public services easier for people to access, understand and use.

The discussion reflected a broader principle: technology creates greater public value when it reduces complexity rather than adding to it. Bhuta explored the potential for AI tools to help citizens navigate information, understand services and interact more effectively with institutions.

The theme also connects naturally with OpenClearFuture, Bhuta’s AI consulting, AI training, future-readiness and strategic-foresight initiative.

Community Connections in Schaumburg
Hiten Bhuta also attended a community reception at Wyndham Grand in Schaumburg hosted by Dr. Bharat Barai and the US Indian Community Foundation.

Approximately 300 people participated in the gathering, according to event information provided for this release, creating an opportunity for conversations among Indian-American community leaders and visiting representatives from India.

Supporting an Upcoming Uttarakhand Diwali Celebration
Extending the spirit of the Chicago visit beyond the three gatherings, Hiten Bhuta announced Silver Sponsorship supporting Richa Chand and fellow organizers of the Uttarakhand Society of Greater Chicago’s Diwali Festival.

The celebration is scheduled for October 25, 2026, at Atlantis Banquet in Arlington Heights and is expected to bring families together through music, dance, food and Pahadi cultural heritage.

The support represents a fourth community connection emerging from the visit—moving from participation and conversation toward continued cultural engagement.

From Compassion to Practical Contribution
Across the three gatherings, Hiten Bhuta central message connected two subjects that are often discussed separately: human understanding and technological progress.

Gandhiji’s message begins with recognizing human needs. Responsible technology begins in much the same place.

Hiten Bhuta said the experience reinforced his interest in supporting community organizations, sharing technology knowledge, exploring responsible AI projects of public significance, providing software and digital-services expertise, and helping connect organizations that may benefit from working together.

“I participated in several events in Chicago over the last two days and was inspired to experience tremendous warmth and respect from our community leaders and visiting leaders from Bharat,” Hiten Bhuta said.
